Of Bottles and Books

Sushant Kumar B.K

My friends,
Earning PhDs,
Argue : Tough, full of stress.
Barriers, many
Books, bulky, countless

Go crazy, my friends, intoxicate your souls
And navigate like a sailor
Chasing the horizon in a storm
Like the plight of drunkards,
Wandering the whole night,
Pub to pub, street to street,
On bikes, on foot,  every day, late hours,
For a strong drink, a new flavor,
Swallowing- bottles
One, two, and three…many more
O! Sometimes – resting on them

They find— life, within bottles.
Like them, my friends, you should roam
For libraries, for books,
Unveil wisdom, through pages.
