The 170th event of Surabhi Sahitya Pratisthan witnessed the launch of the novel Avasad, written by Ramchandra Dahal. Humorist Nagendra Raj Poudel graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The event was attended by Surabhi’s patron Yubaraj Mainali, critics Gopikrishna Mainali and Ram Bahadur Pahadi, Madhavlal Shrestha, President of Ghumti Kavigoshti Nepal, writer Bipin Dev, and Bimal Aryal, Vice President of Abhinav Sahitya Samaj.
The program commenced with a welcome speech by the Vice President of the organization, Parashuram Parashar, followed by a reading of excerpts from the novel Avasad. The book was then jointly launched by the chief guest and other dignitaries. Critic Gopikrishna Mainali presented his review of the novel, while other speakers extended their congratulations and best wishes to author Dahal.
During the event, Dahal shared various experiences encountered during the writing process. Over sixty literature enthusiasts attended the program, where Susheel Acharya, Ranjana Parajuli Lamsal, Geeta Baral, Sarita Dulal Ghimire, Madhusudan Prasad Ghimire, Alok Chalise, and Achyut Chalise recited stories and short narratives.
The event was presided over by Bajuram Poudel.
