Writers and Poets Honoured on 43rd Story Day

The Association of Literary Journalism honored poets and writers with various awards during a literary program held in the capital on the occasion of the 43rd Story Day. The awards were presented in recognition of significant contributions to Nepali language and literature.

During the program, story writer Narendra Raj Poudel was honored with the Mainali Katha Puraskar along with a cash prize of 51,000 rupees.

Likewise, writer Sirjana Sharma was presented with the Lokpriya Puraskar, along with a cash prize of 10,100 rupees.

Poet and journalist Thakur Belbase was honored with the Vyatheth Kabya Samman, and poet Khemnath Dahal with the Vyathit Kavya Diasphora Samman.

The awards were presented by senior critic Dr. Basudev Tripathi, who attended the event as the chief guest.
