Baikuntha R. Acharya
I was a clever guy
I knew
how to play with people’s emotions
the feelings, desires and compulsions
I was a smart guy
I knew
the tricks and skills of manipulation
to use and throw people in the corporation
I forgot the rules for being human
I treated
the people as a tool and a commodity
throwed them when they’ve less utility
One day
I was thrown from the corporation
saying they’ve found a guy of perfection
I begged for kindness and compassion
But nobody listened me
I realized
I was also used as a commodity
And, there was no room for any empathy
I looked in the mirror
My reflection was saying as a juror
As you sow, so you reap
What goes around, comes around
