Two spiritual books by author Kamal Prasad Dhungana, namely Bigyan Bhairav and Raghukul Tilak Shreeram Bhairagya, have been launched simultaneously. Both the books have been published by Ratna Pustak Bhandar.
Bigyan Bhairav is a simplified Nepali version of Bigyan Bhairav Tantra that contains a total of 112 different ancient meditation techniques. A legend narrates that those 112 techniques of meditation as mentioned in Bigyan Bhairav Tantra were first taught by Lord Shava to Parbati.
Author Dhungana said that the 112 meditation techniques explained in the book will be equally useful for the people of all generations. The meditation techniques have been well explained in the book and the citation of original slokas have added readability and authenticity to it.
Another book Raghukul Tilak Shreeram Bhairagya deals with the description of Lord Shree Ram’s spiritual quest and renunciation. Like Bigyan Bhairav, this is also a Nepali simplification from Sanskrit that entails Maharshi Valmiki’s narration of Lord Shree Ram’s divineness to Rishi Bharadaraj.
The managing director of Ratna Pustak Bhandar Govinda Shrestha said that the publication finds the need for such spiritual books as spiritual knowledge is an enteral requirement of a society.
