Three Poems by Tajjas Sharma

                     She
She appeared suddenly and for short
She had eyes like two full silver moon
She smiled provoking my eternity
She raised me from the dirt
And laid me on her flower bed
She said everything without speaking
Touched everywhere without feeling
She is yes, inside me and left instantly
Like winter sun she appeared
Like summer dreams she disappeared
She
And only she!

           Age
Took everything
My prime my charm
My fame my name
My body, liberalism
Freedom, choices
Deliberation, dedication
System, continuance
Independence, sovereignty
My progression my perfection
My gist my wist
My approach my retirement
My people my society
My concept artfully
My dream playfully
Age oh!  age.

              Old
I thought I’ll never get old
I thought I’ll never get into trap
Never accused nor a finger be pointed
Never get cold never become gray

Now I get old and hapless
Every time fingered and cursed
Cold numb and disgusted
The earth rather seems still
but my brain ceaseless young and fast.
