Sushant Thapa
You are a winged chariot
You could fly measurelessly;
Yet, you descend down.
Your wings flap
And cover my eyes with colors
Of the same bare sky.
When the day is done
You arise with
The stars.
Carry me away,
Make me see my soul
In your light,
In the dim light
Let me read my book of life.
Like Poet Dylan Thomas
Let me rebel for the dying of light,
But you are the blanket of warmth.
The numbness of cool summer air
Makes me seek the light
Of my life in the evening twilight.
The horizon is sinking
And I am camping for this evening.
