The Political Leader and the Common People

Gyan Udas

The rich janata of my country
Have survived
Feeding on the stale and rotten bread
Thrown in containers
And the poor political netas of
The same country of mine
Have survived eating the fresh and healthy golden bread
Thrown in the lavatory of the airport;
Both of them
Have survived with their own self-respects,
There is only one difference in their survival
The rich janata
Who have survived
Eating the stale and rotten bread
Are caught by the authority
Of investigation
And the tax collector
But the poor netas
Deceive the same authority
And evade the taxes.
