The Earth in My Pocket

Arjun Sharma Niraula

I put the earth into my pocket for a moment
And watch silently
How it rotates now.

As the crabs go away from the banks of the river during rainy season
All the creatures randomly fly
Scattered in the azure sky!

Leaving the earth’s atmosphere empty
The sun’s rays jump to Mars
The sun must have been surprised
To see the earth disappearing all of a sudden.

How I wish my pocket could hold the whole earth
Much bigger than the world!
If so,
The world would be in my pocket
