Teenage is a confusing age.
A time of change, a turning page.
I am fourteen, lost in thought,
So many answers I have sought.
What is teenage? Bad or good?
Why am I not understood?
Why don’t they trust the words I say.
Even when I’m honest each day?
They say they know, they say they care.
But when I speak, they are not fair.
If they understand, why not trust?
Why treat my feelings like mere dust?
Teenage feels like walking in mud.
With no clear path, just waves of flood.
We need a guide, a hand so kind.
To teach us, help us, light our mind.
Teenage is not a crime or wrong,
Just a journey to make us strong.
Some say teenagers are wild and bad.
Are we so scary? Are we that mad?
I ask myself- am I a threat?
Or just a child, not grown up yet?
Teenage is not a thing to fear.
It is a phase, so bright and clear.
A time to learn, to grow, to shine.
To dream, to hope—this age is mine!
Yes, we may fall, yes, we may stray.
But don’t push us too far away.
Trust us, guide us, let us see,
Teenage is life’s best mystery.
Every age has its beauty and struggle,
Each stage of life, a different puzzle.
