Texas-based Hem-Sarita Pathak Foundation has decided to jointly award the “Tankaprasad-Ramadevi Pathak International Journalism Award” to journalists Matruka Dahal and Deepa Dahal. The award aims to campaign against corruption.
Issuing a press release, chairman of Hem-Sarita Pathak Foundation Radheshyam Lekali stated that the award will be jointly presented to Kantipur Daily journalist Matruka Dahal and Ukaalo.com journalist Deepa Dahal for their impartial and unflinching reporting on significant cases in Nepali journalism.
The foundation has announced that the awards will be distributed during a special event held in Kathmandu.
