A symposium on micro-story, organized by Chahara Literature Society, Dhapasi, successfully concluded under the chairmanship of writer Yogendra Timilsina.
The program had senior fiction writer Dhruva Madhikarmi as the chief guest, while senior fiction writer Harihar Khanal and critic Prof. Gangadhar Kattel were special guests.
During the event, story writers Harihar Khanal, Dhruva Madhikarmi, Yogendra Timilsina, Bhola Dulal, Dr. Basudev Kafle, Manju Sharma Nepal, Anand Paudyal, Bhagwati Paudyal, and Shambhavi Vashishtha read their micro-stories to the participants. Additionally, Navin Karki, Rupa Risal, and Rama Sharma presented some longer and anecdotal stories.
In his address, chief guest Dhruva Madhikarmi shed light on the development and characteristics of micro-stories. He appreciated the literary works of all the participants of the symposium.
Similarly, special guest and critic Prof. Gangadhar Kattel presented a critical perspective on micro-stories.
The program, held in the auditorium of Greenland Secondary School, Dhapasi, saw a significant presence of local literary enthusiasts. The event was financially supported by Tokha Municipality.
