Suresh Rai’s debut poetry collection titled ‘Samjhanako Photocopy’ has been released. The unveiling of the book took place during a program organized at the Sahityapost office in Kaushaltar.
The event was attended by Rai’s mother Tikahira Rai, father Buddhiraj Rai, aunt Ratna Heera Rai, and Sahityapost’s chief editor Ashwini Koirala, among others. Poet Suresh himself is currently working in South Korea.
During the program, each guest read one poem from the collection, and also discussed about Suresh’s writing style. Rai’s mother, father, and aunt conveyed their blessings for the success of his debut work.
Writer Sharad Pradhan reflected on the release of Rai’s first book and extended best wishes to him.
Concluding the release ceremony, chief editor of Sahitya Post Ashwini Koirla referred to Rai not just as a poet but as a “cultured poet”.
The program was hosted by Krishna Dhungel.
The book has been published by Sahitya Post and is priced 350 rupees. It contains 53 poems.
