The Surabhi Literary Foundation has awarded four fictorn writers. The awards were presented at an event held in Bensigaun, with Mayor of Gokarneshwar Municipality Deepak Kumar Risal as the chief guest.
Risal presented the ‘Surabhi Prahad Nari Akhyan Puraskar’ to Hiranyakumari Pathak, the ‘Surabhi Achyutram Laghukatha Puraskar’ to Shri Om Shrestha ‘Rodan’, the ‘Surabhi Vedmani Akhyan prativa Puraskar’ to Ramchandra Dahal, and the ‘Sulekh Akhyan Prathiva Puraskat’ to Vidyaprasad Ghimire.
During the event, the all the awardees, along with Krishna Subedi ‘Nirakar’ and Indra Kumar Shrestha ‘Sarit’, read out their stories and short stories.
Mayor Risal mentioned that the municipality has been providing as much support as possible to literary organizations.
