Spring Red Rose

Shaurav Sharma

Why should I not look at you ?
Why should I not praise you ?
Fragrance diffuses with a red hue
Ignites me to write only of you !

Framed in my garden, ceaseless gazing
As if you are a nature’s little painting

Not so far yet not so near
All I wish is just a stare
I won’t pluck you, water your root sphere
& want to feel your velvety touch of care

A beauty so perfect by nature’s grace
imprints a sensual reminiscence to trace
Joyful heart as the blood in my vein flows
A metaphor to my love, Oh Dear Red Rose!
