Issuing a press release, Yashaswi Pragya Pratishthan has announced six books selected for the ‘Yashaswi Book Award- 2081’ across various genres.
According to the release, the awards will be presented to Devbrata’s poetry collection Ashwatthama Ko Nidhar Bata Bagmati Bagchha (poetry), Muna Chaudhary’s novel Laar (fiction), Momila Joshi’s essay collection Prashnaharu Ta Baki Nai Rahanchhan and Prof. Arun Gupta’s Sanskriti Chintan in the joint category of non-fiction, Rohini Rana’s The Nepali Cook Book (in English); and Yagya Raj Upadhyaya’s research work Kaali Karnali Ko Lok Sahitya Tatha Sanskriti under the miscellaneous category.
These awards will be presented at the Kathmandu-Kalinga Literary Festival, scheduled to take place on Bhadra 22 (September 7).
Each award carries a cash prize of twenty thousand rupees.
