The 2nd convention of Lyricist Academy Nepal, held in Pokhara, has elected Shital Giri as the Academy’s new president. Lyricist Giri is the composer of popular Nepali song titled ‘Ma Bina Kasai Kasai Lai Muskil Xa Pokharama.‘
The 2ndconvention of Academy unanimously elected Giri as the president of 11 member executive committee. Along with, the convention has also elected Anurag Adhikari as vice-president, Rupindra Prabhavi as secratery, Lal Karki Anjan as treasurer and Birsana Basnet as joint secretary of the Academy.
The other committee members include Rajaram Poudel, Jivan Mitra Pandit, Sabitri Giri, Resham Rachak, Harimaya Parajuli and Aadarsha Pokharel.
