This year’s ‘Mankumari-Kedar Sharma Dhakal Pratibha Puraskar’ will be presented to literary figures Dr. Maheshwar Sharma, Prof. Dr. Krishna Prasad Neupane, and Millalal Pangeni. The decision was announced by the award foundation issuing a press release.
Foundation’s member-secretary Premraj Luitel states that the foundation decided to award Sharma, Neupane, and Pangeni in recognition of their significant contributions to the Nepali language and literature.
The award recipients will each receive a cash prize of 20,000 rupees along with a certificate of honour.
The award distribution will be carried out on Ashoj 11, 2081 (September 27, 2024) at Nepal Academy that is scheduled to begin at 2:30 PM.
