Rashmi Bhatta’s ‘Shoonyabata Suru’ Released

Poet and story writer Rashmi Bhatta’s collection of short stories, “Shoonyabat Suru,” was launched amidst a grand literary ceremony held on the 24th of Baisakh. The event, organized by the International Nepali Literary Society (INLS)- Nepal Chapter, was chaired by the president of the chapter, Rajendra Keshi.

The event was attended by distinguished guests including the former Vice-Chancellor of Nepal Academy and the patriarch of Nepali literature, Prof. Dr. Vasudev Tripathi, along with notable figures like Geeta Khatri, former president of INLS, Radheshyam Lekali, Vice-Chairperson of INLS Dr. Renuka Solu, INLS Secretary-General Bimala Niroula, Head of the poetry department of Nepal Academy Baba Basnet, INLS advisor Pratik Dhakal, and INLS member Dr. Damodar Pudasaini, among others.

The guests were welcomed by Nirmalraman Parajuli, Vice-Chairperson of INLS Nepal Chapter.

The book was jointly unveiled by Prof. Dr. Vasudev Tripathi including other guest attendants.

During the event, Dr. Damodar Pudasaini and Dr. Renuka Solu put critical remarks upon the book while poets Vimala Niroula, Radheshyam Lekali, Pratik Dhakal, Baba Basnet, and Geeta Khatri extended best wishes to author Bhatta.

A musical presentation by singer and musician Narhari Premi from the Shruti Sangeet Vidyalaya and Sita Devi Dura from Thado Bhaka Folk Art Organization remained an attraction of the event.
