Ramesh Vikal’s complete collection has been published in three volumes. Published under the title “Ramesh Vikal Samagra,” these three volumes encompass Vikal’s complete collection of stories, novels, and plays, each published in separate sections.
Some of Vikal’s works had become unavailable to researchers, students, and readers due to the lack of new editions by publishers. The books were published by the Ramesh Vikal Literature Foundation, with financial support from the Gokarneshwar Municipality.
According to the press release issued by the foundation, the “Ramesh Vikal Samagra” story section includes stories from ten published collections, along with 33 individual stories that were not part of any collection, making a total of around 150 stories spread over 1392 pages. The novel section, spanning 944 pages, includes his three famous novels “Sunauli,” “Avirala Bagdacha Indrawati,” and “Sagar Urlancha Sagarmatha Chuna.” Similarly, the 608-page play section collects nine individual plays along with those from four published collections.
