Ram-Gitra Vangmaya Mandir, a literary foundation instituted by writer and philanthropist Gita Khatri and her husband Ram Khatri, has requested writers to submit their literary works of any genre published in 2078 and 2079 BS for two different awards. According to a press release issued by Mandir’s Chair Gita Khatri, Nepali writers at home and abroad, who are interested to claim the awards, may submit 4 copies of their recent literary publications for “Prateek Dhakal Laxmi Best Book Award” and “Ashesh Malla-Sabitri Theater Award” to be conferred upon one winner from each category in an even-number Nepali year. Interested writers have been notified to submit their works by the end of Ashad, 2080, the press release says. The awards consist of 50, 000 Nepali rupees each. Writers in Nepal have been notified to submit their works at Page Turner, City Max Complex, Bagbazar during office hours. Those outside Nepal may submit their works at 97-12 63rd Drive, Apt#10G, Rego Park, NY 11374.
