Pushpaparag Sahitya Pratishthan has decided to award and honor 12 literary figures on the occasion of its 2081 annual anniversary. The institution’s executive committee made this decision based on the recommendation of the Pushpaparag Award Selection Committee.
This year, the Pushpaparag Varsha Samman 2081 will be conferred upon litterateur Dhanman Shrestha. Similarly, the B.K. Memorial Award will be presented to D.R. Rai, the Nilganga Language and Literature Award to Dr. Yagyashwar Niraula, the Balkumari Chhand Kavita Award to Ratnanidhi Regmi Shukracharya, and the Shukra Mandir Folk Literature Award to Shital Giri (Chitra Bahadur Giri).
Likewise, the Tilakumari Khadka Memorial Award will be given to Rudra Adhikari, the Chevan Chandra Basnet Gadyda Kabita Award to Padam Dahal (Padma Prasad Dahal), the Krishnalal Gopini Shivakoti Memorial Award to Junu Ghimire, and the Padmavati Song and Music Award to Santosh Shrestha. The Saphalta Memorial Award will be presented to Gauri Devkota, while the Pushpaparag Honorary Award 2081 will be conferred upon Navaraj Lamsal. The Pushpaparag Youth Literary Honor will be awarded to B.K. Makaju.
