Purushottam Bajgain’s novel Neelo Prem has been launched in Kathmandu. The book was jointly unveiled by literary figures Prof. Dr. Krishna Hari Baral, Raju Babu Shrestha, Ghanendra Ojha, music composer Santosh Shrestha, the author’s father Pandit Uddhav Bajgain, and his wife Sujata Chamlagain.
Speaking at the event, writer Bajgain shared that the novel is based on the themes he has seen, heard, and experienced. He also reflected on his creative journey and the process of writing the novel.
Renowned literary figure Ghanendra Ojha stated that Neelo Prem primarily focuses on teenage love. He mentioned that the novel advocates for ideal love and is suitable for readers of all age groups.
Similarly, Prof. Dr. Krishna Hari Baral discussed various theoretical aspects of novel writing, noting that Neelo Prem successfully embraces the principles and boundaries of the genre. He also praised the literary significance and originality of the work.
