Prof. Krishna Pokharel’s memoir ‘Farkera Herda’ has been released. The book was launched at an event in Kathmandu by former member of parliament Kamal Koirala, Prof. Krishna Khanal, Saru Pokharel, and political analyst Shankar Tiwari.
Speaking at the book launch, author Pokharel mentioned that he has revealed many chapters of his life through the book. He said the book encompasses the times, situations, and events he has seen, experienced, and felt.
Former MP Koirala, Prof. Khanal and former judge Mohan Prasad Sitaula also discussed the book. They praised it as a readable work.
The book also provides an extensive discussion of the Jhapa movement.
The book has been published by Shikha Books.
