Dr. Tikaram Pokharel’s short story Dozer Ra Manchhe has won first place in the short story competition.
In the Bagmati Province-Level Open Short Story Competition organized by the Neelkantha Pragya-Pratishthan, Premki Devi by Prof. Dr. Ajay Risal secured second place, Vikrit Pradushan by Dhanwantari Mishra came third, and Garima by Ganga Basnet (Khadka) received the consolation prize.
The Pratishthan had invited short story submissions from writers within Bagmati Province by the end of the Nepali month of Mangsir.
The cash prizes for first, second, third, and consolation positions are NPR 20,000, NPR 15,000, NPR 10,000, and NPR 5,000, respectively, along with certificates.
According to a notice issued by the Pratishthan’s Member-Secretary Prakash Paudel, the awards will be presented at a formal ceremony.
