Kathmandu, January 1
Poet Nirvik Jung Rayamajhi has released his debut anthology of poetry ‘Tyasari Ta Kahilyai Sochiena’ (Never Did I Think In That Way).
The book was jointly released by the chancellor of Nepal Academy Bhupal Rai, poets Shyamal, and Momila Joshi amid a function in the capital on Saturday, December 30.
Poet Shyamal found creative lunacy within Nirvik while reading the collection. “Normal people can do only normal things but for the creation, you must have creative madness,” he said. He assumed that the book would be a powerful intervention on the status quo.
Poet and Chancellor of Nepal Academy Rai got the promising talent in Nirvik’s poetry while Momila felt celebrating the festival of poetry while reading the poetry by Rayamajhi.
“His poetry has the rich talent to express more in few words,” she opined.
London-based poet and journalist Rayamajhi has many poems, essays and news reports to his credit. The book consists of 50 poems of diverse flavours.
Published by Kalam Publication, the book is priced 375 rupees.
