“Haun Hami Kirati”, a song reflecting the culture and civilization of the Kirats, has been released. Composed by poet and musician Manuhang Kirati ‘Solu’, the song has been sung by singer Kumar Kulung. Sabit Gurung has composed its music while its mixing has been done by Kshitiz Kulung.
The song glorifies the history of the Kirat culture and civilization.
The song is the 5th song of poet Manuhang Kirati. Songs like ‘Salapa Chilichomi’ (in Kulung language) and ‘Murchuga ra Binayo’ have already been released in Manuhang’s composition.
Poet Manuhang is also a radio journalist based in Solukhumbu. During the release of the song, he stressed on the need for more of such artistic creation of indigenous culture in order to preserve the overall Nepali culture.
