Poet Deep Darpan’s first poetry collection Eklo Prithvi Eklo Manche has been launched. The collection was jointly unveiled at an event in Kathmandu by poets Shravan Mukarung, critic Rajkumar Baniya, poet Jyoti Jungle, and writer Deep Darpan.
Speaking at the launch, poet and lyricist Shravan Mukarung remarked that the poetry collection poignantly portrays the realities of society.
Poet Jyoti Jungle emphasized that each poem in the collection carries its own narrative, noting that the poet has depicted the sentiments of the working class.
Critic Rajkumar Baniya shared that Darpan’s collection was one of the works he was eager to read, adding that the depth of the themes depicted in the poems is sure to captivate readers.
Expressing his excitement about his debut collection, Darpan stated that he would work on a second collection based on the feedback and suggestions he receives from this one.
At the event, poets Reema KC, Mahesh Kshitiz, Suraj Rana, and Radhika Adhikari recited selected poems from the collection. The event was hosted by poet Prajwal Adhikari.
The book, containing 52 poems, is published by Shangrila Books.
