The showtime for the play ‘Purnaviram’ has been extended at Sarvanam Theatre.
Writer and actor Suraj Parajuli announced that the play will now run until the 4th of Shrawan (19 July) due to high audience demand.
Directed and conceptualized by Arush Magar, the play has been on stage since the 17th of Asar (June-July). The cast features Sagun Tamang, Shu-Gung, Rinesh Basnet, Vivek Acharya, Samaira Shrestha, Mukesh Hamal, Samiksha Poudel, Meena Purnima, Asim Tharu, Bhumika Tharu, Vidhyak Tilak, Basanta Bahadur Khadka, Saraswati Dahal, Yubaraj Thapa Magar, Nirbahadur Khapangi, Suraj Parajuli, Sudish Thapa Magar, Saugat Tripathi, and others.
According to the production team, the play addresses the double standards of politicians and the challenges common people face in meeting basic needs. It explores both entertainment and intellectual themes, leaving the audience with various questions.
