The much-anticipated play Hari Hajurba premieres today at Mandala Theatre, Thapagaun. The production will run daily, except Mondays, until January 12.
On Saturdays, audiences can enjoy two shows, scheduled at 1 PM and 5:15 PM.
Written, conceptualized, and directed by renowned actor Nazir Hussain, the play marks Hussain’s return to the stage after a decade. He stars in the production alongside celebrated actor Bijay Baral. The cast also features Riyulsang, Sabina Thapa, Rohit Shah, Sujana Pandey, Manish Pandey, and Risu Raut.
Hari Hajurba delves into the emotional aftermath of conflict and the complexities of human relationships. The story follows Hari, a young postman delivering letters, while an elderly grandfather longs for the return of his granddaughter, who disappeared during the conflict.
Blending poetry with drama, the play offers a poignant narrative designed to heal the wounds left by turmoil. According to the production team, its powerful message and compelling presentation are sure to leave audiences deeply moved.
