Nisa Pandey, a third-year BA LLB student at Kathmandu School of Law (KSL) in Dadhikot, Bhaktapur, has released her debut social novel Nirsha.
The novel explores themes like caste discrimination, family breakdown, political instability, and foreign employment, written in simple and engaging language. It was launched on January 5 at an event held at KSL.
Prof. Dr. Yubaraj Sangroula, Executive Director of KSL, praised the book, saying, “Nisa has raised serious societal issues and offered hopeful solutions through her writing.”
Published by Lex and Juris Publications, the book is priced at NPR 250.
