The release date of Nepal’s first animated movie has been made public on the occasion of Saraswati Puja. The movie will be released from March 19.
The movie will be distributed by Shree Byankatesh Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
Produced by the Salina Rainmaker Animation Academy, the movie is based on a fictional story that tells the story of Princess Salina who embarks on various journeys to defeat the biggest demon with the help of others.
The film directed by Tejas Raj Joshi features graphic artists Sagun Maharjan, Avinash Singh Tharu, and Shirbha Manandhar. This is the first animated feature film made in Nepali technology and Nepali language. There is no use of any physical characters other than voice in this.
The voice actors in the film include Benisha Khatiwada, Aditi Jyavali, Ezme Kuekel, Jharna Rai, Tejas Raj Joshi, Sushil Nepal, Dev Neupane, Shiv Puri, Yuvin Pujari, Juna Thapa, Kumar Nyaupane, Prakash Adhikari, Roshan Bhatta, Sagen Maharjan, Avinash Singh Tharu, Shirabha Manandhar, Viraj Khadka, Lajna Shrestha, Shruti Shrestha, Sudishna Shrestha, Sunina Shakya, and Krishna Raj Karnikar among others.
The film, produced by Tejas Raj Joshi and Shruti Shrestha, has been edited by Shiv Puri and Shruti Shrestha.
