With an aim to promote reading culture, Nepal Academy has begun its book exhibition on the occasion of Bijaya Dashami, a major Nepali festival. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Chancellor of Academy Nepal Bhupal Rai.
While inaugurating the event, chancellor Rai stated that the book exhibition intended to fulfill the reader’s demand and attract them towards reading culture. He also said that the Academy aims to distribute its books to all seven provinces and local levels.
The displayed books at the exhibitions mainly features books related to language, literature, culture, philosophy, history, sociology and also that of science and technology.
Press advisor of Nepal Academy Chetnath Dhamala informed that except for dictionaries, all the displayed books are sold allowing a heavy discount of 40%.
Correspondingly, Sajha Publication is also holding book exhibition at Pulchowk, Kathmandu along with its branches throughout the country.
