Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Publication Nepalaya has invited young authors aged 25 and below to participate in the publication of three books.
According to Nepalaya’s press release, the initiative is open to any Nepali, Nepali-origin, or Nepali-speaking individual born after 2000. The submissions can be in Nepali, any language spoken in Nepal, or English and span three genres: poetry, story, and essay. Writers are free to choose their titles, subjects, styles, and tones, provided the works are original, unpublished, and do not exceed 2,500 words. Submissions generated using artificial intelligence will not be considered.
Manuscripts must be submitted via Nepalaya’s website by February 25, 2025. A judging panel comprising Shrawan Mukarung, Bhushita Vasistha, and Narayan Wagle will evaluate the entries, emphasizing concise, engaging, and impactful writing.
The selected entries will be published as three separate books in 2025. Authors will receive royalties as per Nepalaya’s policies, with the possibility of securing book contracts.
