Nepal Academy has presented this year’s ‘Academy Mother Language Literature Award’ to Nepal language writer Dr. Yogendraman Pradhanang and Urao language writer Bechan Urao. Both the award recipients were honored with a cash prize of 1 lakh rupees each at the National Mother Language Poetry Festival held in Dharan, Sunsari.
The event was attended by the Chairman of Nepal Academy Bhupal Rai, Mayor of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City Harkaraj Rai, secretary member of Nepal Academy Dr. Dhana Prasad Subedi, Head of the Mother Language Literature Department Rajan Mukarung and language expert Professor Dr. Tank Prasad Neupane.
