Nepali feature movie Mahanagar: One Night in Kathmandu has been screened today at the Central Department of English, Tribhuban University. Organized by Creative Literary Forum (CLF), the program was attended by TU professors, film makers, poets, students, literary enthusiasts and other attendees.
The audiences viewed the story of the movie very much pertinent to their own life as it dealt with the people struggling hard for survival in the capital.
During an interaction session after the movie screening, writer and director of Mahanagar Mohan Rai and producer Govinda Parajuli shared their experiences of making the movie and responded to the participants’ queries on the relevant issues.
While, movie Mahanagar has remained the winner of Nepal International Film Festival and has also received the honorable mention in the Nepal-America International Film Festival 2022. Besides, the movie has exclusively travelled the theaters across the world getting nominated in various national and international awards.
Along with, Creative Literary Forum takes the privilege to showcase any artistic creation within the university premises and thus appeals the poets, writers, film makers and artists to reach out the forum for any kind of artistic showcase.
