Sibu Dhakal
Knock me down
break me down
as you destroyed
the power crown.
I was wronged
I was bound
in a statue
and my soul is not freed.
One fine morning I was on my way
where I was crushed over.
Then a crowd of people gathered
who protested in fit of pique
and triumphantly got me declared a martyr.
I am not a martyr, forsooth
Nor do I deserve to be one.
So if the sound wave of my voice
affects your wakefulness,
please destroy me
please cease me.
