UNPULGGED Vachan, a longstanding participant in various literary endeavors in Jhapa, is organizing a poetry concert featuring the esteemed poet Upendra Subba. The concert, titled “Mansara Poetry Concert”, is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, in Birtamod, Jhapa.
In addition to poet Subba, the event will showcase special poetry recitations by the actors of the upcoming Nepali movie “Mansara,” including Miruna Magar, Menuka Pradhan, and Praveen Khatiwada.
According to the event coordinator, Sunita Tamang, the collaboration with the movie team was planned as they are scheduled to visit Jhapa for promotional activities.
The movie “Mansara,” produced by Shailendra KC and directed by Upendra Subba, is to scheduled to premiere on Friday, May 3. The Poetry Concert will be hosted at One Stop Mall in Birtamod, specifically at the OFX Cinema Hall, starting at 12 noon.
