Mahabir Pun Sells Over 1,100 Books in Gulmi District, Advances Noble Cause

Mahabir Pun, the president of the National Innovation Centre, made significant strides in his campaign by selling more than 1,100 copies of his autobiographical book titled “Mahabir Pun” in Gulmi district.

His visit to Gulmi, aimed at supporting the operation of the Birgunj Agricultural Tool Factory, marked the 25th district on his book-selling journey.

The response to Pun’s book from locals, schools, organizations, and individuals in Gulmi was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting widespread support for his cause.

Pun’s ambitious plan to reach all 77 districts and sell 300,000 books is steadily progressing, with over 73,000 copies sold by April 1. Currently, the fifth edition comprising 85,000 copies is in print, priced at Rs. 700 for students and Rs. 750 for the general public.

Welcoming Pun to Resunga Municipality, Mayor Khil Dhwaj Panthi encouraged community participation in Pun’s noble campaign. Panthi also emphasized the importance of  collective effort to ensure the success of Pun’s campaign.
