Everyday, Macbeth is strolling around
In our parliament, ministries and administrative buildings
In party offices, meetings and conventions
However umpteenth times,
His head is chopped off
He is coming along Carrying the sword
With newer and newer incarnations
Only to chop off our heads
Where have our sorcerers and witchdoctors gone
And why is it that
They have not been able to predict
The downfall of the new monarch?
Still falling asleep in the throne is
The greedy and ungrateful
Macbeth
And the people are
Still massaging his feet .
