Renowned linguist Chudamani Gautam, widely known as the ‘Grammar Guru,’ has passed away at the age of 81. He breathed his last on Monday evening while undergoing treatment in Kathmandu, according to family sources.
Gautam has written more than 100 books including Gautam Grammar, Brihattar Nepali Sabdakosh, Baphre Jindagi (autography), and Ksha Ko Sahi Uchcharan Ra Prayog, among his works to his credit.
Born in 2000 BS at Paktin in Aathrai Rural Municipality-2, Tehrathum, he later moved to Kathmandu and resided in Dilli Bazaar, Kathmandu until his passing today.
