Poet Lokpriye Sunuwar’s poetry collection in mother tongue titled “Va’Sharehlu” has been unveiled.
The book launch event, organized by Sirjana Memorial Foundation, was attended by Urmila Sunuwar, Member of Parliament of Bagmati Province, linguist Lal Rapacha, former MP Krishna Rai, and the author herself.
The collection features 40 poems in Sunuwar language.
Born in Khiji Chandeshwari, Okhaldhunga, in 2008, Sunuwar has previously published four works, including “Koicha Loh Lohsi” (Sunuwar Conversational), “Koicha Nepali, English Dictionary”, “Kirat Koicha Durdapun”, and “Kirat Koicha Sunuwar Mulchem Mukdam”.
