Nepal Film and Cultural Academy, in collaboration with the Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF), is set to host its first-ever film festival dedicated to horror, fantasy, and folklore genres. The festival titled ‘Kathmandu Horror Film Feast’ is scheduled to take place in Kathmandu from October 31 to November 2,
According to festival director Rasik Pathak, with the festival, the Academy aims to promote horror-themed films and foster a creative environment that encourages their production in the country.
The festival will feature only international competition categories.
According to the organisers, awards will be given for Best Feature Film, Short Film, South Asian Film, and Youth Film at the festival.
Pathak also informed that film submissions are now open.
