Kailas Kumar Pandey’s ‘Nayatal’ Launched

Dhangadhi: Writer Kailas Kumar Pandey’s new short story collection Nayatal has been launched. The book was released during an event organized by the Sudurpaschim Literary Society where the Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province, Kamal Bahadur Shah, unveiled the book.

Known for his contributions to songs, ghazals, and poetry, Nayatal is Pandey’s seventh publication. The collection comprises 22 stories addressing themes such as gender, caste, and harmful practices. It also includes narratives ranging from animal sacrifices to human sacrifices, highlighting regionalism, diversity, social issues, and their resolutions.

The event, chaired by the society’s president Tirtharaj Pandey, included a review of the book by Tulasi Sharma. General Secretary Ganesh Nepali hosted the program, while Vice President Topendra Shah delivered the welcome speech.
