Poet Jagannath Paudel’s debut poetry collection titled ‘Bhagdai Bhagdai’ has been released.
Previously recognized as the winner of the Global Nepali Poetry Competition organized by the International Nepali Literary Society (INLS), Poet Jagannath presented his debut book at a launch event held by the same organization. The publication has been distributed to the public through Sabda Media Pvt. Ltd., the parent company of Sahityapost e-Daily.
President of INLS BOT, Padam Bishwokarma, former president of INLS Radheshyam Lekali, Prof. Dr. Laxman Prasad Gautam, central vice-presidents of INLS, Rajendra Shrestha and Dr. Renu Thapa Solu, critic Mahesh Paudel, chief editor of Sahitya Post Ashwini Koirla, Ganesh Kumar J.C., among others, were present at the launch.
Speakers Padam Bishwokarma, Radheshyam Lekali, Prof. Dr. Laxman Prasad Gautam, author Jagannath Paudel had expressed their views at the program.
Critics Mahesh Paudel and Dr. Balakrishna Adhikari had made critical comments on the presented work.
During the program, literary figures Suman Barsha, Tain Tain Dhital and Moharaj Sharma recited poems from the newly released book. During the poetry recitation, Vasanta Chamling Rai gave the background music by playing the flute.
The program was presided over by the president of INLS Nepal Chapter, Rajendra K.C.
Literary figures Shree Om Shrestha, Yuvaraj Nayanghare, Divya Giri, Vijayadhwaj Thapa, Vikram Bhakt Joshi, Devika Timilsina, Ranjana Niraula (general secretary), Shanti Risal, Sirjana Sharma, Ramesh Dahal, Mamata Mridul, Yadevi Dhakal, Raj Rajak , Rishav Ghimire, Harish Kalpit, among others, were present at the event.
