Poet Jagannath Paudel’s poetry collection Bagdai Bagdai has been selected for the ‘INLS Rashtrakavi Best Diaspora Poetry Award’, which carries a cash prize of USD 1,000. The announcement was made during the International Nepali Literary Society (INLS) Annual General Assembly held on the occasion of Bhanu Jayanti.
The award is part of the INLS Literary Awards 2025, which honored 11 books across various genres, including Bagdai Bagdai. Paudel’s collection was published by Sahityapost.
Each year, INLS honors writers from different genres for their outstanding contributions to Nepali language, literature, and culture. According to the organizers, the award distribution ceremony will be held soon.
