A two days long ‘Ph.D. Festival 2080’ has been announced by the department of Institute of Science and Technology( IoST), Tribhuvan University that will be held on 9th and 10th of October. Marking the successful completion of 250 Ph.D. award, the institution decided to organize the festival aiming to improve the quality of ongoing PhD works.
The festival will take place at the Central Department premises of Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur.
The festival will feature various poster presentations by Ph.D. scholars which will be visited by Ph.D. Alumni, Ph.D. students, faculty members of TU and various universities, industrialists, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders.
As per the second announcement made by IoST on July 17, the festival will also declare the ‘best poster award’ in four categories: Biological Science, Physical Science, Mathematical science and interdisciplinary areas. Besides, special talks, panel discussions and speech by key note speakers will remain an integral part of the festival.
