With the aim of encouraging the global Nepali-speaking community, the International Nepali Literary Society (INLS), Denmark Chapter, has announced the ‘International Poetry Competition 2025.’ The society invites poets writing in the Nepali language from around the world to participate by adhering to the following guidelines:

Poems must be written in Nepali and should be limited to 200 words.

Entries containing content that undermines individual dignity or national integrity will be disqualified.

Participants are free to write on any subject of their choice.

Office bearers of INLS Denmark are ineligible to participate.

Each participant may submit only one poem.

The submission deadline is July 14, 2025. Entries should be emailed to [email protected].

Results will be announced on August 10, 2025.
Participants must include their contact number and full address with the submission. A photograph is optional.
Both prose poems and metered verse will be evaluated equally.
The top three poets will receive books, attractive prizes, and certificates.
