In a celebration of literary artistry, poetry collection titled ‘The Colours of Spring’ by poet Kumar Raj Subedi has made its way into the hearts of readers with its exclusive home release. The home release of the book was organized by Sampurna Kitab that involved poetry recitation and discussion upon the book.
During the programme, Majoj Bikram Bista, Sanjaya Chaudhary, Yubraj Poudel and Udaya Adhikari reflected upon Subedi’s anthology. While sharing his literary experiences of writing poetry, author Subedi also recited 5 poems from his collection.
Presided over by Lekhram Sapkota of Sampurna Kitab, the event had entertained writer Dhan Raj Giri as the chief guest. The program was moderated by Dinesh Kadel.
Born in Parbart district of Nepal, poet Subedi’s childhood was spent in Bachauli, Chitwan. After completing his SLC from Jhuwani Secondari School, Subedi went to Shahid Smiriti Campus, Tandi following Birendra Multiple Campus, Bharatpur and Flinders University, Australia for higher education. As an ardent poet of both Nepali and English, his Nepali collection is in course publication. His anthology’ The Colours of Spring’ has been published by Sahityapost Dot Com.
Poet Subedi has also remained the recipient of The Best Poet of The Event in Bangladesh. Some of his poems have been translated into different languages. Currently, Australia-based poet Subedi is engaged in teaching profession and shows an active affiliations with various literary organizations.
