Nepali Multilingual poet Santosh Kumar Pokhrel has been honored with the ‘Hemaprabha Shilpa Sahitya Sanskriti Samman 2024’ at a ceremony in Kolkata, India. This international award recognizes global writers for their contributions to world literature.
As Poet Pokhrel could not attend the event, the award certificate was handed over to Bengali artist and poet Shipra Sadhak on his behalf. The award citation was read aloud by Ms. Utsa Bandyopadhyay during the event.
The text of the award states:
“At present, the radiance of your unparalleled contributions in the fields of art, literature, and culture illuminates the world. The award was presented by the Bandyopadhyay Sanskriti Parishad, with Founder Secretary Deepak Bandyopadhyay leading the event.
